27-year old Ryan was one of Callum Tapping’s first recruits, having signed on an initial loan deal during the second half of last season from nearby Bo’ness United, before making the move permanent over the summer.
A stalwart at Bo’ness United, the Falkirk local first joined Bo’ness in 2018 as a loanee from Raith Rovers, before making the move permanent in 2019. Ryan helped guide Bo’ness into the Lowland League in 2020, and featured heavily for Bo’ness over the next six years before his arrival at The Shire.
A hard-working midfielder, capable of playing centrally, on the wing or even at full-back, Ryan brings experience and a winning mentality to the young Shire side.
